Oh...the flu

Yes...like probably the quarter of the Malaysian population, I was down with flu. Yup...the complete package. I lost my appetite, hence did not eat much and subsequently lost weight. But now that I'm recovering, I feel like I want to have the biggest burger and I've been having this craving like this whole week!!!

This flu however, came at a pretty convenient time. Is there such a thing? Well, it came after I came back from my holiday, which was a good thing, don't you think? It also came after I have tendered my resignation. I am finally leaving MIA. Having no mood to work anymore, I went to the office everyday, well, almost everyday, feeling groggy with too much medication. Fortunately, I have been very good with my deadlines that I don't have much pending.

Like I said, I haven't fully recovered, which means that I still cough my lungs out. Let me tell you, it's damn tiring. Disturbs my sleep too.

On another note, the reason that I have neglected posting anything here is because I am hooked with Facebook...well...everyone is! I am trying the clear some of my apps. I don't fancy them that much any more, plus they're clogging it up.

Damn...still not over the burger craving yet. I think I'll go have one at Chilli's this Saturday. Old Timer...here I come...hehehehehe......

Rompin

The longest bus ride ever in my life, was the one coming back from Rompin, the south-east route. Road was winding and bumpy. Thanks to my travel sickness pill, I managed to sleep all the way. Though at some point of the journey, I thought I was on a boat! The times when I was awake, I saw the rumah orang asli with the little kids at the door and Astro dish at the roof top....probably installed exclusively to watch AF....... And just behind their house was the Pahang river. It was quite a view.

The stay at Rompin was nice, considering that I haven't seen the beach for a long time and there was a horse left to graze the rumput freely right in front of the bungalow......the bungalow which was facing the sea....Very nice one you know.....But the food not nice lah!

My experience of catching fish, net trawling, was amazing. A lot of hard work though! The picture was just before we did the net trawling thingy.

I might just go there again which a bunch a single friends....thought of driving there myself...wonder if it'll happen....hhhhhmmmmm......

TRIXXIE, VALENTINE'S AND SUCH...

Oh my God...I can't believe that I haven't posted anything since like last year. Actually, wasn't really in the mood to write anything. Nothing good to share.

It's now coming to the end of February 2007. I feel like this is the longest February in my life (funny ain't it...considering February is the shortest month of the year). A lot of things did happen, all sorts of things. Perhaps one of the reason is that I'm in the 'waiting' period.

For the past year and a half, we've been apart...him in Jakarta and me, here. Yeah, I know it's not that far. Only a 2 hour flight. We still see each other occasionally. I fly to Jakarta, he flies back to KL. So then, what's the big deal you might ask. Truth is, I suck at this long distance relationship thingy...big time. But I am thankful that he's been very patient with me, in enduring my 'being a baby attitude'. I do try, as much as I can, not to make him worry coz I know it's not easy for him either. I guess when you've been together for so long, you tend to become dependent, emotionally dependent that is. At least that's my case. 12 years together and he's always around, then he's not around. You feel it. Good news is, he coming back for good. Early March. Yay!

What else? Oh...as you can see, that's my cat, my fat cat. You can't really see how fat coz of the way she's lying down. That's a back stroke style. I'll post a Superman one later.

On another note, here's something from a girl's point of view. I'm soooooo glad that Valentine's day is over. No....not because he's not around...I just never understood why it's such a big deal. I'm not gonna say much about it. *Psst* some people might get mad at me if I start writing about it. A friend told me this...."IT'S JUST ADVERTISING". Hhhhmmmm...come to think of it, maybe I should start selling some mushy stuff next year. It's a damn good opportunity to rip off money from those gullible beings. ;)

Wassup...Selamat Menyambut Ramadhan.

I bought a Mace Windu Light Saber about a month ago. It was really cool....the Force was definately with me. Anyway, I have given it away as a birthday present...and now it's all the way in Jakarta....may the force be with u! (Should anyone tick you off...u know what to do...hehehehe....)

Now...should I get the Darth Maul Sabers? Dzul has got one...or two of it...well depends if u put it together or not....and it's just amazing! But a bit expensive lah! (Guess what Dzul...I didn't even take a picture of my....or rather what was my saber!)

Well...perhaps when I have some extra cash, I'll get another one :)

Anyway, for all those who have got the light saber/s...MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU.

Know what...it took 2 weeks for the burn to heal. What a torture! Anyway, I'm glad that I'm now able to enjoy my meals. Yippie!!!

Ermmm...kinda bored of work. Getting a bit tired with the FTA negotiations, same thing over and over again. I'm of to Singapore for a meeting this Friday. Just wish that I can take time off from work and go to Jakarta or something ;) But I can't, not till end of September at least.

I burn my tongue and the palate of my mouth yesterday. Freakin' hurts! What happened was...I went for lunch with some friends and ordered tom yam soup. Mine came last, so was sort of starving already by that time. I did blow to cool it off a little....started to slurp the thingy and then....aaaaaarrrrggghhh!!!!!!!!

This morning, I had nasi lemak and was feeling as though I'm chewing and swallowing plastic pellets!

I can't enjoy my food.....and that's really something serious...at least for me who LOVES to eat!

My friends who know me....I'm sure you know how serious this is for me...... :(
